   Class Series at Loft Ceramic Studio     

Loft Ceramic Studio offers semester classes in wheel throwing, slip casting, and hand building. We use porcelain for hand building and stoneware for wheel throwing. All finished pieces are food and dishwasher safe. Refund policy: no refunds; see make-up policy below.

  • No - all materials are provided for you in class! Just bring yourself, creativity and an open mind :)

  • Yes, studio hours are included. The studio is open 7AM-11PM to use for practice. Note, wheels might not be available to reserve during sold out class times and private events.

  • Yes, should you be unavailable during a specific date, feel free to let us know and make up in another class. Make-up subject to class availability and can only be made-up during the same term.

  • The price includes all materials except for firing fees.

    Firing fees apply at 8 cents per cubic inch. For example LxWxH x .08 or standard 3 x 3 x 3.5 cup will cost $2.52 to fire to finish porcelain.

  • Depending on the class, 8-12.

    Max. class size of 12 to ensure proper attention and care to every student unless stated otherwise.
