This 6-week course offers the best of both worlds—wheel throwing and hand building! The class will combine both techniques, with a focus on creating functional pottery such as mugs, bowls, plates and planters. We will begin with four weeks of wheel throwing before transitioning to four weeks of hand building.
Students will make functional and decorative tableware, including cups, bowls, plates, and planters. Her class will also explore Nerikomi, a Japanese technique for creating geometric and marbled patterns.
This class is designed for the hobbyist, beginner to advanced.
