The class will be a 8 week course focusing on slip casting lighting design. Students will learn how to mix and color liquid clay (slip), pour and cast into plaster molds, and refine their pieces through trimming, assembling, and glazing. The class will cover both functional and sculptural applications of slip casting, offering a great introduction to creating consistent forms.
